Canadian Television Program Releases Powerful Debut Book: Always Know...
“See Hear Love with Melinda Estabrooks” release featuring 50 contributors launches February 1, 2021.
BURLINGTON, ON – February 1 – Over the last four years, Canadian faith-based television program See Hear Love has not just produced a new television show, but also developed a community of brave women and men who value honest conversations about justice, peace, inclusion, hope and faith. With a robust network of guests and deeply valuable content, the Crossroads Christian Communications Inc. production is releasing its first book, Always Know… (Word Alive Press), on February 1, 2021. Always Know… features a collection of stories and learnings from 50 diverse See Hear Love guests and friends from British Columbia to New Brunswick. With a foreword from Lorna Dueck, former CEO of Crossroads, seasoned journalist, and author, the book gives readers practical ways to:
Lead well: wherever you’re at
Love your neighbour: even when it’s hard
Overcome shame that’s holding you back
Choose joy and freedom: whatever your circumstances are
Be brave: believing you’ve got what it takes
Know you are loved and valued by God
Live an open-handed life
“This collection of stories and life-tested insights are not just words – they are experiences and learnings that have been held, open-handed to God … the master storyteller of life and transformation,” said Estabrooks. “My mission through both the show and this new book is to create a safe space and authentic community for women and men to hear inspiring stories, ask tough questions, and share their journey so they can grow in their faith and understanding of Jesus.” In the show’s hallmark style, Always Know… also includes insightful reflections and key takeaways. The book will launch with a celebration of contributors on February 1st, and be exclusively available through the Crossroads and See Hear Love websites throughout February, and then available for purchase online and in-stores on March 1, 2021“See Hear Love places a high value on listening to, learning from and amplifying voices from across Canada,” said Melinda Estabrooks, See Hear Love Host and Executive Producer. “It’s my hope that Always Know… would allow these voices and stories of courage, resilience, faith and hope to inspire and encourage our country, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.” The book was edited by Melinda Estabrooks and author Ruth Thorogood.
