The Challenge

A Rocha has a unique place in environmental stewardship, as it is the only faith-based organization in Canada working specifically in this space. Their team was holding a gala to launch the Brooksdale Campaign, its capital campaign. They approached us to help them develop and implement a brand for the event, and to launch the campaign publicly.

The Solution

We wanted A Rocha’s target audience to understand the work, feel known, and have a sense that they are part of larger movement for environmental stewardship. Out of this need, we developed the concept of a Barn Raiser, which became the primary theme of the brand and marketing plan. Donors were invited to invest in a new era of A Rocha’s work, in the same spirit of togetherness that is often found in communities that rally around a barn raising.

We developed the overarching event branding, the logo, promotional materials, and social media collateral. In addition, we developed and implemented a public relations campaign to launch the campaign to the public.

The Results

The event was a beautiful private event at the Vancouver Convention Centre, overlooking Burrard Inlet. The branding for the night was approachable, warm, welcoming, rustic and visionary. We also delivered a high-performing social media campaign, that contributed to a sold out event and A Rocha successfully meeting its campaign targets.
