Welcome, Shannon and Veronica!

This week, we welcomed two new additions to the Graf-Martin Communications team! Today we’d like to introduce you to Shannon and Veronica.

Welcome, Shannon

Welcome, Shannon Mischuk: Digital Engagement Manager

Shannon started her career in finance back when she was living in beautiful British Columbia. She moved to Kitchener, Ontario in 1996 when she married a Pastor at a local church plant. After their four children arrived, Shannon started blogging to keep her BC family informed on their day-to-day life and lessons learned along the way. She turned that hobby into a full-time career when she was headhunted by a start-up marketing agency and brought on to develop their social media marketing department.

Her extensive work in digital and influencer marketing created an engaged online community, provided her opportunities to work with top global brands, ambassadorships, and as a media spokesperson. Shannon is better known as Shash in the online world, www.shasherslife.com. She has more than a decade of experience managing digital/social media marketing campaigns, SEO and influencer engagement. Shannon has a heart for women’s ministry and loves to empower women to use their God-given gifts, talents, and abilities. Her hobbies include getting sucked into Pinterest, discovering new ways to use her Instant Pot, loving on her family and drinking copious amounts of coffee. Welcome to the team, Shannon!

Welcome, Veronica

Welcome, Veronica Swiech: Publicity Assistant

Veronica is a recent graduate of the Honours Communication Studies program at Wilfrid Laurier University. Veronica is passionate about business intersecting with faith-based organizations, especially when it comes to marketing. She is eager to learn the tricks of the trade and start working on the PR initiatives here at Graf-Martin.

Veronica comes to us from a church leadership role where she helped coordinate community programs for children and youth. She enjoys camping in Ontario’s woods or ‘glamping’ on island resorts. Veronica is excited to join the team at GMC and we’re glad to have her. Welcome, Veronica!
